I am in pain right now.
Not only was I sunburnt to a crisp, but also pinched by a crab and stung by a jellyfish! Yesterday, I was boogie-boarding with one of my friends--Braden--and I felt a VERY SHARP PINCH. VERY SHARP. I yelled, and Braden was like, WTH? We got out of the water, and I saw this splotchy white-red spot. (Picture Below)Ouch! When we went to the lifeguard, he confirmed it as a sting, and sprayed ammonia and vinegar on it. What I didn't see until this morning? An upturned crescent slice on my ankle. Very clean, and just starting to scar, but not scab. :( . A crab.
This won't discourage me from staying out of the water, though! The waves during high tide are perfect for b-boarding and wind surfing, and I look forward to it all week. The 'rents are forcing me to not go in the water, at least for today, so we're hitting some shops before dining in Savannah.
Over and Out!

I got a free harmonica!!
Last night, I was at a bar/restaurant in GA, and a band was playing surf-rock music. The harmonica player and vocalist in the band gave me and all the kids I'm rooming with FREE HARMONICAS!! He even made us stand up on the stage and play it, in front of the whole restaurant! We had a lot of fun, pics of the harmonica are below!

On the Road Again: Georgia!
Yes! After over sixteen hours of being cooped up in a car, I--we--finally arrived in *unnamed island near Savannah*, GA! Last night, we stayed in Atlanta, and the pullout bed was SO COMFY. We're sharing the house with a few other families, so we're never lonely!
So, I feel like I have to blog about this amazing restaurant in Manchester, Tennessee. Their hospitality was outstanding, and so was their food. The restaurant's name is The Oak Restaurant, and like I said, they're located in Manchester, TN. Our server was so nice, and I really felt out of place, since I asked him if they had sweet tea. Being from a state where if you want iced tea, you have to join the dark side and go unsweetened, sweet tea is a treat! I don't go to McDonald's often, which is one of the only places in my town that I know of that has sweet tea...Anyway, Oak Restaurant. Manchester.
Secondly--or third?--: GAS.
You Southerners out there that are reading this post are SO FREAKING LUCKY!! Gas in my region costs about $4.12 p/gal. Gas in the South? Around $2.90-$3.20 p/gal. At the gas station we were: only $3.03.
Boy, did my dad fill up on gas then!
I have a question for everyone:
Is "Southern Hospitality" a real thing? Northerners: Have you ever met an outlandishly mean or rude Southerner?
Southerners: If you are hospitable, does that mean that Northerners are hostile?
Other regions:What is the price of gas in your part of the country?

Egg-celent Omelet!
So a few days ago, I felt very accomplished, because yours truly actually made a semi-perfect omelet for dinner! I say semi because I ran into a few...problems. All you chefs know that for an omelet, you whisk the eggs and toppings together into a small bowl. Well, I forgot to whisk, and I started making a fried egg. Whoops! So I dashed to our silverware drawer, and snatched a fork, whirring together the two eggs, desperately wishing that it wouldn't cook quickly. I successfully mixed the two eggs in the pan, and still, the omelet was cooking too fast. Minced onions and mozzarella cheese were thrown into the frying pan, while I started to fold it all together. A dash of salt, a pinch of pepper, and a fresh basil garnish later, and on my plate sat a freshly made onion-cheese-basil omelet. Yum! The pictures below are of my scrumptious dinner and what happened to it!
